Noice doesn’t allow behavior or content that in any way supports violent extremist or criminal organizations, or prominent terrorist, extremist or criminal individuals in a way that encourages others to carry out similar acts of violence. This includes behavior that threatens, promotes, glorifies or signals intent to perform violent acts that would result in serious physical harm or significant destruction of property, to an individual or a group of individuals, or that celebrates those who have attempted similar acts.
The following behaviors are a violation of Noice’s policies:
Threatening violence
We have zero tolerance for content or users that threaten to commit real-world acts of violence, whether these threats happen on- or off-platform
This includes:
- Direct threats of violence against someone’s life or physical well-being
- Expressing intent, or encouraging others to cause real-world physical harm to someone, a group of people, or to cause destruction of private property or damage to public infrastructure
- Conditional expressions of desire or intent to commit violent acts
- Carrying out acts of sexual violence, including displaying or threatening to carry out or display non-consensual sex acts, non-consensual intimate touching, or coercion into sex acts.
Inciting violence
We have zero tolerance for content or behavior that threatens or encourages others to commit acts of violence, or that would result in serious harm to people.
This includes:
- Encouraging others to cause real-world physical harm to someone, a group of people, or to cause destruction of private property or damage to public infrastructure
- Conditional expressions of desire for violent acts to happen against someone or something
- Insincere expressions of regret that a hypothetical violent act were to happen
- Calls for others to appear in a real-world location with weapons or firearms to intimidate or threaten someone or a group of people
- Glorification or promotion of acts of sexual violence, including glorification of non-consensual sex acts, non-consensual intimate touching, or coercion into sex acts.
- Glorifying or promoting animal cruelty, torture or abuse.
- Glorification or apology for state-sponsored acts of domestic or international aggression, wars of aggression, or war crimes as contemplated in international law
- Providing instruction on the manufacture or use of weapons or explosives for the purposes of acts of terror or violence targeting civilians.
In certain cases we may instead temporarily suspend accounts for first-time violations of this policy.
