We have a range of possible enforcement options for violations of our community guidelines. These vary in severity, from a simple warning, to a disablement of a particular feature for some amount of time, to a temporary timeout from the platform or, in cases of repeated violations or for extremely severe violations, a permanent suspension from using the platform.
A user that believes we have made a mistake resulting in a consequence on their account may ask us to reconsider by submitting an appeal. While an appeal is pending, the restriction will continue to be in effect.
It is against our Terms of Service to attempt to get around any restrictions or consequences we apply on an account. This includes the following behaviors:
Creating a new account or using backup or secondary accounts to attempt to get around a restriction or suspension
We do not allow users who have been restricted from using certain features of the platform, or who have been suspended from Noice, to have or use other accounts.
This includes the following behaviors which are against the Noice Terms of Service:
- Creating new accounts for yourself when you already have a restriction or suspension on another account.
- Using another account you own when one of the accounts you own is restricted or suspended to carry out the restricted behavior
This list is not exhaustive.
This behavior will result in immediate and indefinite suspension from all Noice platforms for all identified linked accounts. It will also result in an immediate dismissal of any open or unresolved appeals.
Allowing someone to use an account to get around a restriction or suspension on another account
We do not allow users who have been restricted from using certain features of the platform, or who have been suspended from Noice, to use the platform through accounts createdor owned by others.
This includes the following behaviors which are against the Noice Terms of Service:
- Allowing someone else to use your account to stream or watch a stream if their account has been restricted or suspended.
- Handing over control of your account to someone else whose account has been restricted or suspended.
- Operating an account at the request of someone else whose account has been restricted or suspended
- Featuring someone whose account has been restricted or suspended on a stream on your channel.
We will make exceptions for incidental appearance on another channel of someone who has been suspended for the purposes of discussing the circumstances around their suspension, provided there is no repetition of the violative behavior.
- First violation: immediate termination of any livestream in progress and a warning notice
- Second violation: temporary suspension of streaming privileges
- Third violation: temporary suspension from all Noice platforms
- Fourth violation: indefinite suspension from all Noice platforms.
For egregious cases we will immediately and indefinitely suspend accounts for first-time violations of this policy.
