Simulcasting: OBS Multiple-Output Plugin



The Multi-Output Plugin by Sorayuki is a powerful and versatile addition to the world of content creation, specifically designed for users of Open Broadcaster Software (OBS).

OBS has long been a popular choice for live streaming, recording, and broadcasting content across various platforms. However, the Multi-Output Plugin takes OBS functionality to a new level by introducing the capability to simultaneously output content to multiple destinations.

You can find the plugin here, You will need to download the Windows Installer (.exe) version.

Installation Process:
After downloading the installer, double-click on it and allow the installation process to run.

Adding a Plugin to OBS Docks:

After Installing the plugin.
Launch OBS and go to the top menu bar to navigate to the dock.

Locate the "Multiple Output" entry and enable it.

Configuring Primary Platform Settings:

Enter the primary platform information in OBS settings.

Choose your main platform and provide any additional required details (e.g., account connections for Twitch, RTMP, and Stream key for Noice).

Using Multi-Output for Additional Platforms:

Set up your Primary Platform first using the steps above.
Add additional platforms using the Multiple-Output plugin.
Click "Add New Target," enter a unique name, and input the RTMP URL and Stream Key for the chosen additional platform(s).

Features/Usage:

Start streaming on your primary platform using the "Start Streaming" button.

After going live, activate additional platforms individually with the start button or use the "Start All" option to go live on all platforms.

The Multiple Output plugin operates independently, allowing you to toggle streams on and off for each platform without affecting others.

To stop streaming, use the OBS "Stop Streaming" button for the primary stream. For additional streams, use the stop button next to each platform or the stop-all button on the plugin.

Modify platform settings by clicking the "Modify" button next to each named platform.
