There are currently two types of Noice alerts available to use as stream alerts:
- “Card game Events” alert: This overlay displays “Most Predicted” and “Top Score” cards in a single alert box.
- “Channel events” alert: This overlay displays follows, subscriptions, gifted subscriptions and purchases in a single alert box.
Implementation Guide:
To implement the alerts as an overlay in OBS, follow these steps:
-
Access the URL in Noice Studio
- Navigate to the “Alert” section on the left.
- Copy the URL for the alert you want to add.
-
Add the Overlay in OBS
- Go to OBS and under Sources, click “Add source” -> “Browser” -> “Create New”.
- Enter the URL you copied from Noice Studio.
- Set the width and height to:
- 340 and 410 for Card game events.
- 320 and 140 for Channel events. - Once added as a source, you can manually scale the source down on your canvas if needed
- It's important to avoid the validator areas to ensure the card prediction game operates smoothly.
- No additional settings or changes are required.
Note: It's crucial to add the browser source with the correct size first. After that, you should only scale the source within the canvas by dragging a corner of the red rectangle that outlines the source in OBS, as demonstrated below.
-
Ensure Login via Custom Browser Dock
- Add at least one Noice Studio widget as a custom browser dock in OBS to log in to Noice.
- The alert/overlay will only activate once you are logged in to Noice in OBS, typically through a widget added as a custom browser dock.
Note: To set up the docks that work with the alerts, follow these steps:
1. Access Noice Studio:
Go to Stream Manager in Noice Studio.
Click the three dots on the chat widget and select “Get External Link”.
2. Configure in OBS:
Open OBS and go to Docks > Custom Browser Docks.
Give the dock a name and paste the external link you copied into the URL section.
3. Login to Noice:
You’ll see a new dock for your Noice Chat in OBS. It will prompt you to log in.
After logging in, you can either keep the Noice Chat dock open or close it. The “Login to Noice” message should disappear once you’re successfully logged in.
